Happy Halloween 2003

We had the best year ever for Halloween "Marchesani-style"

We couldn't capture the garage well on film since it was so dark, but Chris spent about 5 hours covering the walls in black cloth, creating a dark 'cave', with the candy, strobe lights, smoke machine, etc.

Then once the kids made their way through that, the strolled down a path out back where Chris the Chainsaw-man chased them out of the yard. It was a "Scream'! My dad also helped hide in the shadows to jump out at the kids, and many trick or treaters came back later to show their parents. Lots of fun! Check out the below photos for the images:

Speaking of set up, here's the garage 1/2 way done. It's not as scary in the daytime, but at night it was DARK! THis was taken before Chris finished the cloth hanging and set up the strobe light:

After I escorted the kids through the dark smokey garage of terror (lol) they had to follow that trail throught the back yard, and were eventaully 'greeted' by these 2 creatures of the night. (Chris and my Dad)

They totally scared sooo many kids as well as adults, it was a riot...we were the talk of the neighborhood all night.

Now...to start planning for next year....
